Before he joined WSO2, Binura worked as a senior software architect at Platformer Cloud, Australia. His main focus at Platformer was around building distributed, cloud native solutions as part of the company’s product suite and for external clients. He has led multiple developments and infrastructure-related projects spanning a range of domains from Kubernetes, Cloud, ML/analytics, IoT, and financial services. He is a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), and also a certified Google Cloud Professional Architect. He now leads the engineering team for the DevOps vertical within Choreo.

Starting as a software engineer, he played a leading role in the development and management of public cloud offerings on virtual and containerized environments. Passionate about Kubernetes technologies, Manjula holds CKS, CKA, and CKAD certifications, along with a B.Sc. in engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
