Akila is a Senior Information Security Analyst working on cloud security based in our office in Colombo.
Prior to joining WSO2, Akila worked as a Security Engineer at LSEG, where he was responsible for organizing and coordinating security assessments for applications with pentest SMEs, managing vendor requirements for security assessments, and supporting application security SMEs to onboard applications to app sec tools.
Akila is currently reading for his Msc. in Cyber Security at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), and holds a postgraduate diploma in International Relations, a bachelor's degree in Computer Networking from London Metropolitan University (UK), a junior pentester (eJPT) certificate by eLearnSecurity, and is a certified SOC analyst (EC-Council).
In his spare time, Akila enjoys learning about new technologies.
