Akila Induranga

Akila is a Senior Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Previously, Akila worked as an Intern in the SRE team at WSO2, where he was responsible for automating the deployment of the Azure Sentinel solution for different regions and environments, as well as writing scripts to import already deployed resources into Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories.

Akila has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He was frequently on the Dean’s list. Additionally, Akila participated in Google Summer of Code in 2023, showcasing his passion for open source software development.

Akila enjoys poetry, listening to music, watching movies, and playing video games in his spare time.
