Areeb Thassim

Before joining WSO2, Areeb built his expertise as a Marketing Consultant and Marketing Manager, with a strong focus on growth marketing, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and scaling marketing operations. He has managed marketing budgets that have driven significant growth and expanded market presence for organizations both in Sri Lanka and internationally.

Areeb holds a Postgraduate Diploma from The Chartered Institute of Marketing and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Bedfordshire, UK.

Outside of work, Areeb is passionate about sports—both as a player and a dedicated fan. He enjoys performing stand-up comedy, traveling to new destinations, and challenging friends to strategy board games. While he claims to have no singing talent, he never misses a chance to grab the mic at karaoke.
