Atheeq Rahman

Atheeq is an Associate Lead - Security Compliance based in our office in Colombo.

Prior to joining WSO2, Atheeq worked in the technology industry for over 15 years, holding roles at organizations including IBM, Virtusa Corporation, Axiata Digital Labs, and Global Wavenet Pte Ltd. His expertise spans IT Infrastructure, Security Compliance, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), with a focus on IT security governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and cloud security.

Atheeq holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree, along with industry-recognized cloud and cybersecurity certifications.

Atheeq enjoys watching movies and staying active through sports. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, jogging, and exploring new experiences that keep him motivated and energized.
