Chamod Abeywickrama

Chamod is a Senior Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Chamod worked as a Trainee Associate Electronics Engineer at Zone24x7 (Pvt) Ltd. He was responsible for firmware development of an embedded system project and also developed some VS Code extensions to enhance firmware development.

Chamod has a bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. For his final-year project, he and his team built a humanoid mobile robot receptionist with natural conversation abilities, mobility, and gestures and also developed an app to provide administrative privileges.

Chamod enjoys developing, making gadgets, solving Rubik’s cubes, and listening to music in his free time.
