Dakshina Ranmal

Dakshina is a Senior Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Dakshina worked as a trainee software engineer at WSO2. He was responsible for designing and developing a real-time event notification feature in WSO2 Open Banking 3.0 Accelerator.

Dakshina has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. For his final-year project, he developed an end-to-end IoT based solution for Environmental Sound Classification using Hardware Aware Neural Architecture Search. He has made two journal publications and one conference publication presenting his novel findings for deep learning based environmental sound classification on edge devices.

Dakshina enjoys playing badminton, watching movies, playing games, traveling, and being active.
