Deependra Ariyadewa

Deependra is an Associate Director/Architect in the Cellery team at WSO2.

Bringing more than 10 years experience in systems administration, Deependra specializes in information systems security, peer-to-peer networks, virtualization, and data analytics. Deependra is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE). He has contributed to the administration, configuration and troubleshooting of various Linux systems, including the Apache Web server, ProFTPD FTP server, Squid proxy server, and Sendmail mail server. He also assists in promoting Gnu/Linux and FOSS. Additionally, Deependra is an active member of the British Computer Society and One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Sri Lanka project.

Deependra holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, where he contributed to the virtualization project. He also has a master's degree in Computer Science.

He enjoys traveling in his spare time.
