Hamool Nizar

Hamool is a Senior Software Engineer based at our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Before he joined WSO2, Hamool worked as a Software Engineering Trainee at Zone24x7 (Pvt) Ltd. He was responsible for implementing, integrating, and managing the remote monitoring and management systems of the company.

Hamool has a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the Informatics Institute of Technology (affiliated with the University of Westminster UK). As part of the degree program, he did his final year research project based on a system detecting rumors and false news from social media, especially during a crisis.

Hamool enjoys good music and is also an avid gamer. He enjoys playing futsal and loves to travel.
