Hasitha Gallella

Hasitha is a Research Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Prior to joining WSO2, Hasitha worked as a Research Intern at the A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing, Singapore, where he focused on language reasoning over dynamic 3D scans. He contributed to the development of CL4D, the world's highest-performing foundational AI model for 4D language reasoning, and the project was accepted as a main conference paper at ECCV 2026. He also worked on medical domain multimodal LLMs in collaboration with NUS and SingHealth, Singapore, as a Visiting Student Researcher at SUTD in 2025.

Hasitha holds a BSc Engineering (Honours) degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

Hasitha enjoys hiking, traveling to explore different cultures, drawing, watercolor painting, and tinkering with electronics.
