Hisan Hunais

Hisan is an Associate Technical Lead and based in our office in Colombo.

He initially joined WSO2 as an intern in the WSO2 API Manager team, where he was responsible for integrating the WSO2 API Microgateway with etcd for Service Discovery. Hisan has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. His final year research project focused on providing a solution to enhance the quality of results obtained when browsing the web using the Sinhala language. He captained the men’s tennis team at the University of Colombo who became Champions at the Men’s Tennis Championship of the 13th Sri Lanka University Games (SLUG) in 2019. He was also awarded University colours for tennis from 2016 to 2019.

Hisan enjoys playing tennis, cricket, and scrabble, and also likes to travel and watch movies.
