Imedya Weerasinghe

Imedya is an Associate Technical Lead and based in our office in Colombo.

Before she joined WSO2, Imedya worked as a trainee Software Engineer at Hybriteq Mobility Pvt Ltd (Tripmo). She was responsible for responding to technical enquiries on their primary application and to interact with users to give better solutions to their problems with the application. She also worked on a project to develop a progressive web application and was responsible for managing the database.

Imedya has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, India. She was awarded a full scholarship to study engineering in India by the University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka following her performance in the Advanced level examinations.

She is a classical dancer and has won prizes for her performances. She was a school level netball player and has been awarded school colors for the netball championship in 2005.

Imedya enjoys dancing, listening to music, and reading.
