Imesh Umayanga

Imesh is an Associate Technical Lead based in our office in Colombo.

He started out in WSO2 as an intern where he was responsible for several projects in the financial solutions team. Imesh has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka. As part of his final year research project, Imesh developed a system to identify unknown landmarks using image processing and machine learning techniques, which he published in 2019.

Imesh enjoys watching movies, playing the guitar, reading, and working on classic motorcycles.
