Isuru Ruhunage

Isuru is a Senior Software Engineer - Research and based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Isuru worked as a Research Intern at Shibaura Institute of Technology and Research at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He conducted research on brain computer interfacing, machine learning, and assistive devices.

Isuru has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics and Robotics, from the University of Moratuwa and is currently following a Master’s degree in Bio-medical Engineering.

He has published and presented six conference papers in prestigious international IEEE conferences such as SMC, EMBC, Robio, and LifeTech. Isuru was also the winner of the IESL Migara Ranathunga Trust award and the IMechE award for the best undergraduate research project.

Isuru enjoys playing cricket and table tennis, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.
