Isuru Samarasekara

Isuru is a Senior Software Engineer in Customer Success team, based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Isuru worked as a Cyber Security Trainee Analyst at KPMG. He was responsible for web application VAPT, network infrastructure VAPT and SWIFT customer security controls framework attestation.

Isuru has a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology. He has been included in the Dean’s List for all 8 semesters at the University, obtained CEH and eJPT, co-authored a research paper, and presented the work at TENCON 2020, which is published in IEEE, and has garnered merit for his participation in rugby for his school in provincial and national levels.

Isuru enjoys solo traveling, hiking, and camping, reading up on value investing, and he is addicted to listening to various podcasts and watching YouTube travel channels.
