Kanchana Rathnayaka

Kanchana is an Associate Lead - Information Security Analyst working on Security Operations based in our office in Colombo.

Prior to joining WSO2, Kanchana worked as an Information Security Analyst at Pearson Security Operations Centre, where he was responsible for monitoring the security management consoles, analyzing alerts,intrusions and vulnerabilities, and investigating security incidents.

Kanchana is a certified ethical hacker, PagerDuty certified incident responder, and has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Security from the University of Plymouth, UK.

In his spare time, Kanchana enjoys music, playing cricket, rugby, and esports such as League of Legends (where he won the Mercantile esports title in 2020), and watching movies and anime.
