Merosha Paskaran

Merosha is a Legal Officer based in our office in Colombo.

Prior to joining WSO2, Merosha worked as a Junior Legal Associate and Research Assistant at a Criminal Law chambers mentored by a President's Counsel, where she was responsible for conducting legal research. She is also an accomplished mooting and debating enthusiast, with a strong record of achievement in both domestic and international competitions. During her college years, she received numerous awards for her skills as a researcher, academic writer, and oralist. Her passion for advocacy and public speaking began in childhood through participation in debating competitions. Alongside her academic achievements, she has undertaken several leadership roles, demonstrating strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. She is also proficient in all three local languages.

Merosha holds a Degree in Law from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.

Merosha enjoys baking and considers herself a foodie, with a love for both cooking and eating. She also enjoys singing and is a passionate lover of cinema and old-school sitcoms. Apart from work-related travel, she enjoys discovering new places and travelling occasionally.
