Niran Peiris

Niran is a Senior Software Engineer and based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Niran worked as a Cyber Security intern at the Bank of Ceylon where he was responsible for incident handling and response via a SIEM Tool (LogRhythm), vulnerability assessment, mitigation (Darktrace, Nessus, Nmap, and Acunetix), assist in SOC implementation processes, and conducting user awareness campaigns.

Niran has a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). He was appointed as the Treasurer at the Cyber Security Community of SLIIT and he was also included in the Dean’s List in recognition of academic excellence multiple times.

Niran enjoys hiking, camping, and reading.
