Tharika is an Associate Technical Lead at WSO2.
Prior to joining WSO2, Tharika worked at WSO2 as a trainee software engineer where she worked with the WSO2 API manager team. She holds a B.Sc. (hons) in software engineering from University of Colombo School of Computing, Sri Lanka, and a diploma in banking and finance from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. Her areas of interest include cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data and information security.
As her final year research project she developed a web based, audio monitoring and analytics system that is capable of automatically identifying songs broadcasted through radio channels in Sri Lanka and generate reports on royalty payment due for each song artist.
She enjoys reading biographies, listening to music, and cooking delicious meals.
