Omal Wijegunawardana
Associate Technical Lead
Omal is an Associate Technical Lead and is based at our office in Colombo.
He obtained first-class honors for his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. For his final year research project, he worked on a Virtual Reality based emergency medicine platform to provide affordable CPR training for the medical field.
He successfully completed the Google Summer of Code in 2020. Omal is good at swimming and badminton.
Omal enjoys rock music (or any music!), reading, gaming and he claims to be a good cook! He likes to travel the world. Omal is also very keen and passionate about new technologies, gadgets and is a car enthusiast.
