Osura Viduranga

Osura is a Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Osura worked as an intern at WSO2. He was responsible for connecting WSO2 APIM Control Plane with WSO2 APK Data Plane via implementing the APIM-APK Agent.

Osura has a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Colombo School of Computing, Sri Lanka. He has won hackathons, including the Rootcode Tech-Triathlon 2023 and the TechTrek 2023 Coding Challenge by Vetstoria, and his final-year research was focused on “Mitigating Knowledge Silos in Software Development Teams: Bus Factor Analysis in the Generative AI Era".

Osura is a passionate fan of rugby and cricket and loves playing both sports whenever he gets the chance. In his free time, he enjoys watching TV series and movies, indulging in casual gaming, and creating gaming content on YouTube.
