Piumini Ranasinghe

Piumini is a Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Before she joined WSO2, Piumini worked as a Trainee Software Engineer at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). She was responsible for the research and development of the newest version of the LSEG Surveillance Analytics product, covering areas such as big data exports, customizable UI development, and integration.

Piumini has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. For her final-year project, she developed an end-to-end IoT based solution for Environmental Sound Classification using Hardware Aware Neural Architecture Search. She has made two journal publications and one conference publication presenting her novel findings for deep learning based environmental sound classification on edge devices.

Piumini enjoys taking photos, traveling, watching movies, reading, and playing games.
