Praveen Bhawantha

Praveen is a Senior Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Previously, Praveen worked as an intern at WSO2 where he was responsible for integrating Wallarm to Choreo and front-end development.

Praveen has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.

He represented his university in swimming at SLUG 2019. For his final year project, he developed a deep learning model that detects real-time violence from CCTV feeds, which was published in the 8th International Conference on Advances in Technology and Computing organized by University of Kelaniya.

Praveen enjoys vlogging, traveling, playing the piano, playing table tennis, watching movies, and swimming.
