Rakitha is a Senior Lead - Account Manager and based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Rakitha worked as a Manager of Central Sales at Seylan Bank PLC. He was responsible for, the entire personal loan business canvassed by the sales unit, supporting the strategic direction of the product and the sales force, and for sales admin & MIS (management information system) unit of the bank.

Rakitha has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM, UK. He is also currently following his general MBA at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

Rakitha is a colorsman in both Rugby & Cricket from St’ Peter’s College, Colombo 4. He also captained the NDB bank cricket team to the mercantile championship in 2012. Rakitha won the Silver award for the “Territory Manager of the Year 2017” in the banking category at the SLIM NASCO awards.

He enjoys cooking, trying out different cuisines and places, traveling, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and playing any sport.
