Ravindu Wegiriya

Ravindu is a Software Engineer based in our Colombo office.

He joined WSO2 as an Engineering Intern and was part of the Micro Integrator team. During his internship, he contributed to brainstorming how AI could be integrated into the WSO2 Micro Integrator VS Code Plugin, helped initiate the research and development of the MI AI Copilot from scratch, and implemented key features for its public beta release ahead of WSO2Con 2024.

Ravindu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing.

He has consistently been featured on the UCSC Director’s List for Academic Excellence across all semesters and has been shortlisted for the Award for Best Industrial Training.

In his free time, Ravindu enjoys listening to music, playing cricket, and watching YouTube. He is also passionate about teaching.
