Ruwin Ratnayake

Ruwin is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and is based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Ruwin worked as a DevSecOps Engineer at Ovinway Pvt Ltd, focused on R&D, secure cloud solutions, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development using automated CI/CD pipelines.

Ruwin has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Sp. in Cyber Security from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Sri Lanka.

He served as President of SLIIT Cyber Security Community, volunteered for the faculty committee, and developed ARGUS (an adaptive smart home security solution), placing top three at the 4th International Conference on Advancements in Computing.

Ruwin enjoys learning about new inventions, spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing cricket, and watching movies.
