Sahan Dilshan

Sahan is an Associate Technical Lead based in our office in Colombo.

Prior to this, he was an Intern at WSO2 and was responsible for implementing siddhi-io-grpc, siddhi-map-protobuf extensions, and creating a monitoring system for siddhi-io-file / siddhi-io-cdc / siddhi-store-rdbms extensions, and adding persistence options for Siddhi to persist siddhi app states on AWS-S3 buckets and GCS.

Sahan has a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster, UK. For his final-year project, he implemented a compressing algorithm to deploy highly dimensional NLP models in low-memory environments.

In his spare time, Sahan enjoys playing cricket and watching superhero movies. He is a huge fan of DC comics, and his favorite superhero is The Flash.
