Samith Karunathilake

Samith joins us as a Software Engineer, based in our Colombo office.

Before joining WSO2, he worked as an intern in the Ballerina team at WSO2, where he was responsible for integrating Ballerina with the WSO2 Micro Integrator.

Samith holds a BSc Eng (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. During his undergraduate studies, he was frequently on the Dean’s List, secured top ranks in the IEEEXtreme programming competition, and represented Sri Lanka multiple times at international mathematics olympiads, earning several medals and awards.

Outside of work, Samith enjoys playing chess, watching movies, travelling, and reading.
