Sanjula Madurapperuma

Sanjula is an Associate Technical Lead based in our office in Colombo.

Previously, Sanjula worked as an intern in the API Manager team at WSO2. He was responsible for the 42Crunch API Security Audit Integration and the OAuth 2.0 Endpoint Security feature.

Sanjula has a Diploma in Computer Science from NCC Education in collaboration with the University of Central Lancashire, UK, and a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster, UK. For his final year undergraduate research project, he implemented AutoGRL - a solution that automates the complete Graph Representation Learning process, end-to-end, to reduce technical knowledge and computational resources required to conduct it. All the while simultaneously achieving an astonishing level of consistent performance for all types of graph data. It was well-received by all its testers and evaluators who were impressed by the achievements made at an undergraduate level. Sanjula achieved the coveted 1st in the World award for the Diploma in Computer Science in 2018 and published a research paper named: “Automated Graph Representation Learning: A Survey” which was presented at the 27th ICE/IEEE ITMC Conference hosted by the University of Cardiff, UK, for his final year undergraduate research project.

Sanjula enjoys playing Badminton and Chess, while you can also find him engaging in motorsports and wildlife and nature photography during his free time.
