Sasmitha Ekanayaka

Sasmitha is a Senior Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Sasmitha worked as a trainee technical engineer at Synopsys Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. He was responsible for re-architecting one of their automation tools and generating SystemVerilog test cases leveraging their existing codebase.

Sasmitha has a Bachelor of Science of Engineering (Hons.) Degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka.

In his final-year project, he develops an FPGA-based arbitrary waveform generator with custom UI development.

Sasmitha enjoys singing, gaming, traveling, and playing badminton and cricket in his spare time.
