Senith Karunarathne

Senith is a Software Engineer based in our Colombo office.

Before joining WSO2, he worked as a Software Engineering Intern at D F N Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, where he was responsible for implementing new features for the NTP product and participated in several R&D initiatives.

Senith holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

During his school years, he was an active member of the cricket team and represented his school in athletics at both provincial and all-island levels. In his final year at university, he focused his research on optimizing affinity-aware CPU scheduling to improve cross-container communication.

Outside of work, Senith enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures, and exploring new places. He is passionate about gaming—particularly strategy and competitive games—and also enjoys cycling, whether for relaxation or adventure.
