Shenal Goonewardena

Shenal is a Business Development Officer, working in our Colombo office.

Before joining WSO2, he worked as an Associate Project Manager at Azend Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, where he was responsible for project coordination and delivery, Agile process support, and stakeholder engagement and documentation.

Shenal holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and Management from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. During his academic and school years, he served as Head Prefect and Choir Leader at St. Joseph’s College, was an active member of the competitive rowing teams at both the University of Moratuwa and St. Joseph’s College, and completed his A/Ls in 2019 with top results in the Commerce stream. He is currently planning to pursue the Chartered Institute of Marketing to further enhance his skills.

Outside of work, Shenal enjoys weekend rowing, traveling down south to unwind, impromptu karaoke sessions, and is always eager to volunteer in organizing events and social activities.
