Sumedhe Dissanayake

Sumedhe is an Associate Technical Lead and based in our office in Colombo.

Sumedhe has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and he worked at the university as a research intern prior to joining WSO2.

For his final year research project, he created a classifier for existing websites based on their appearance using unsupervised learning techniques in order to auto-generate website templates. Sumedhe successfully completed the Google Summer of Code in 2018. He is an inventor and owns a patent for one of his new inventions.

Sumedhe enjoys philosophical discussions, traveling, hanging out with friends, watching movies, and swimming. He likes to help people and counsel them.
