Sumudu Liyanage

Sumudu is a Senior Software Engineer based in Colombo.

Previously, Sumudu was an Intern in the Choreo team, where she was responsible for contributing to the research of the sidecarless service mesh support with eBPF.

Sumudu has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. In her final project, she worked on electroencephalogram (EEG)-based brain-computer interfaces.

In her spare time, Sumudu enjoys playing tennis, watching movies, and swimming.
