Tharindu Thenuwara

Tharindu is a Systems Engineer based in our office in Colombo.

Before he joined WSO2, Tharindu worked as a Network Analyst intern at ParaQum Technologies.

He was responsible for the algorithm development of the Load Balancer product using Linux sockets, creating rules for handling network traffic, optimizing the algorithm, and achieving scalability for the project. Tharindu holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc. Eng.) from the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

His final-year project focused on creating an Early Earthquake Warning System using a novel communication technology called LoRa. This research-based project is a collaborative and funded effort with Massey University in New Zealand.

Tharindu enjoys playing football, cricket, and singing songs.
