Tharushi Pushpakumara

Tharushi is a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer focused on security compliance, based in our Colombo office.

Before joining WSO2, she worked as a Senior Associate Lead in the Cyber Security Governance team at Dialog Axiata PLC. In this role, she was responsible for managing cyber risks, aligning the company’s security posture with industry-recognized frameworks such as Zero Trust and NIST, and ensuring the timely upgrade and maintenance of information security certifications.

Tharushi holds a master’s degree in Cyber Security Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. She also holds two bachelor’s (honors) degrees: one in Cyber Security from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, and another in Physical Science from the University of Colombo.

Outside of work, Tharushi enjoys traveling, nature walks, watching movies, and exploring new technology trends.
