Venukshi Mendis

Venukshi is a Software Engineer based in our Colombo office.

Before joining WSO2 full-time, she worked as a Trainee Software Engineer at the company. During her internship, she was responsible for designing and developing the Dynamic Client Registration feature for the USA FDX Open Banking Toolkit.

Venukshi holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. For her final year project, she developed a machine learning–based tool for host depletion in metagenomic samples—offering a more accurate and resource-efficient alternative to existing state-of-the-art solutions.

She is passionate about exploring new ideas through reading, particularly fiction and personal development books. In her free time, she also enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and traveling.
