WSO2, a leading fully open source API Management solution provider, today announced that Forrester has recognized WSO2 as a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™: API Management Solutions, Q3 2022. WSO2 received the highest possible scores in the commercial model and supporting services criteria.
The report can be accessed here.
In the WSO2 vendor profile, Forrester states “WSO2 sells an open source API management product with a software-as-a-service (SaaS) option known as Choreo. Its strong supporting services include workshops for API business strategy and architecture review. It also hosts hackathons for clients to accelerate client innovation. WSO2 supports its open source community with conferences around the globe and contributions to architecture, such as its cell-based architecture.”
APIs now serve as the primary building blocks for assembling data, events, and services within an organization, throughout ecosystems, and across devices. Integrated legacy systems and support for modern event-driven architectures, on the other hand, are critical in allowing timely, relevant digital experiences in response to customer behavior. At WSO2, we believe APIs should be looked at both as a technical enabler and as a business driver of any organization. Our complete product suite helps organizations to achieve both technical and business success.
In WSO2’s vendor profile, the Forrester report also states the following: “WSO2's delivery management is distinctive, with support for API versioning, robust CI/CD tooling, and customizable lifecycle management with enforced governance of lifecycle stage transition. A microgateway and integration with Istio and Consul provide above-average support for microservices.”
Choreo by WSO2 is a cloud-native developer platform that enables your developers to create, deploy and run new digital components like APIs, microservices, and automations in serverless mode on any Kubernetes cluster.
