A few weeks ago, we celebrated our 16th year of being in business. From only having an R&D hub in Southeast Asia, we have grown in the APAC region to now having an entire sales function with registered entities in Sri Lanka, Australia, and India. We’ve picked up 97 subscription paying customers and 40 business partners in the APAC region. With our partner-first approach, we are looking to grow exponentially in the region via regional and global resellers and services partners.
We conducted the APAC version of our Partner Open Day concept on 24 August 2021. Our main intention was to introduce WSO2 to systems integrators and resellers in the APAC and ANZ regions and explain the opportunities they will have to win new business by taking our core products and industry accelerators to the market.
Jonathan Marsh (VP Strategy), Mifan Careem (VP Solutions Architecture & Head of Healthcare Practice ), and Chris Davey (Senior Director - Solutions Architecture) spoke about partnership opportunities, our platform story, and where WSO2 can take our partners. Tass Melissinos (VP & GM for ANZ) joined Sudaraka Jayashanka (Managing Director, Chakray Consultancy) and Subhendu Biswas (Principal Director, Head-Connected Enterprise, Larsen & Toubro Infotech ) in a panel discussion to share thoughts on why a partner strategy is important and why our partners chose us.
