Job Summary
We’re looking for a Finance Officer who can support our global financial operations within a high-velocity environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing end-to-end accounting tasks, reconciling financial discrepancies through data analysis, and ensuring the integrity of WSO2’s global transactions.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will function across several critical financial domains. Primary duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Sales Ledger Management
- Process and produce invoices as per contracted terms and follow up with sales if needed.
- Identify and solve any problems and issues pertaining to invoicing.
- Manage the accounts receivable lifecycle, including collections follow-up and forecasting.
Purchase Ledger Operations
- Process purchase orders, vouchers, and business expenses with technical precision, while maintaining rigorous internal controls and documentation standards.
- Track and reconcile company credit card transactions.
- Identify and solve any problems and issues, alerting the lead if needed.
Taxation, Regulatory and Statutory Reporting
- Assist with internal and external audits, including corporate tax and statutory return completions.
- Ensure compliance for group entities, focusing on intercompany and transfer pricing (TP) agreements.
- VAT returns/refunds, ensuring all filing deadlines and paperwork are handled accurately.
Internal Systems and Integration
- Identify gaps in current financial systems and suggest improvements for automation.
- Initiate and lead projects to enhance system integration and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance from a recognized university or a full professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICASL, CIMA, or CMA).
- Two or more years of relevant experience in an equivalent corporate finance role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data-driven accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial information and provide actionable insights.
