Job Role
The Revenue Operations team at WSO2 empowers sales and marketing success by streamlining operational workflows and maximizing the effectiveness of our technology stack. We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to play a critical role in this mission. You will design and implement automated solutions, develop custom functionalities, and maintain the integrity of our Salesforce environment, ultimately enabling our users to achieve their goals with greater efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities and Duties
Research and Development
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic tools
- Build and support Flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards
- Assist in developing Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Support integrations between Salesforce and external systems
- Participate in requirement gathering, testing, debugging, and deployments
- Maintain data integrity and system security best practices
Teamwork and Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Engage with extended teams (such as Pre-Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Sales) for reporting and automation activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Relevant Experience
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SFDC design and development.
- Salesforce Developer Certification and Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Experience in Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud is required.
- Experience in Salesforce CPQ will be an added advantage.
- Experience in providing Salesforce solutions for SaaS companies will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency on the Salesforce.com platform, Apex, LWC, Aura, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, SOAP or REST-based web services, and SOQL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce deployments (e.g., Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins) is preferred.
- Experience in SFDX and ability to manage code deployments.
- Experience in integrating SF with other platforms.
- Experience in Pardot and ServiceNow will be an added advantage.
Communication and Organizational Skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally.
- Demonstrated proficiency in open-source communication practices, including transparent communication and proactive community engagement.
- Capability in understanding business processes and excellent problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Takes initiative and works autonomously, while effectively motivating team members through collaborative leadership and shared vision.
