Job Summary

As the Country Manager for France & Benelux at WSO2, you will drive the growth and market presence of our cutting-edge API management, integration, and identity and access management (IAM) solutions. This pivotal leadership role combines strategic vision, team management, and sales expertise to expand WSO2's footprint across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg-among the most digitally mature and regulation-driven markets in Europe.

This role is especially timely given the evolving EU regulatory landscape, including digital sovereignty initiatives and frameworks such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), NIS2, and eIDAS 2.0, where WSO2's open-source, sovereignty-friendly approach offers clear differentiation.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive sales plan tailored to the France & Benelux markets to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by identifying key opportunities and nurturing strong relationships with enterprise clients.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and trends to drive growth and position WSO2 as a leader in the French and Benelux tech ecosystems.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a senior point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Position WSO2's solutions in the context of EU digital sovereignty and compliance requirements (CRA, NIS2, eIDAS 2.0, GDPR).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with global and EU regional teams-including marketing, product, and engineering-to align regional activities with WSO2's global strategy.
  • Compliance and Operations: Ensure adherence to regional legal, financial, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Travel as required across France and the Benelux region.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar capacity and a minimum of 10 years of successfully selling enterprise software into the public and private sectors in France and/or the Benelux region.
  • An understanding of and experience working with enterprise infrastructure such as API management, IAM, and integration platforms.
  • Experience working with a global team.
  • Experience in operational management, enterprise GTM, and SaaS in the French and/or Benelux markets.
  • Strong understanding of the European technology landscape, EU regulatory drivers, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Professional fluency in French and English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
  • A charismatic, executive-level presence with the ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders, including the ability to present succinctly and clearly in both written and verbal communications.
  • Strong financial and commercial analytical skills that drive results, including the capacity to quickly understand new markets and relevant operational and financial dynamics.
