About the Role
WSO2 is building the next generation of its agentic AI platform, extending our open-source integration, API management, and identity heritage into the era of autonomous AI agents. We're looking for a Product Manager to own the WSO2 Agent Platform, not just the roadmap, but the pricing, packaging, adoption metrics, and commercial outcomes of the platform.
This is a build-and-own role for someone who has shipped enterprise platform products before, understands how open-source and commercial tiers coexist, and can translate deep technical fluency in the agentic AI landscape (agent orchestration, tool-use protocols, governance, identity-for-agents) into a product strategy.
What You'll Own
- Product strategy and roadmap for WSO2's agentic AI platform capabilities, spanning agent management, tool/connector governance, agent identity and access control, and observability, in collaboration with product managers across the company.
- Competitive positioning against both hyperscaler agentic platforms and infrastructure-native competitors.
- Pricing and packaging - including usage-based and consumption models appropriate for agent workloads (token/call volume, agent-hours, tool invocations).
- Outcome metrics for the Agent Platform - including adoption, usage, and contribution to revenue.
- Go-to-market partnership with sales, marketing, and field engineering to translate platform capability into enterprise deals.
What We’re Looking For
- 8-12+ years in product management, with at least 3+ years owning an enterprise platform product, in the AI space, end to end (not just roadmap ownership).
- Problem-first discovery: continuous, hypothesis-driven discovery with enterprise customers, design partners, and field teams. You turn recurring pain points in running agents in production (governance, trust, cost, reliability) into validated problem statements and success criteria before any feature is committed to the roadmap.
- Domain fluency in the agentic AI landscape: agent orchestration frameworks, multi-agent systems, tool-calling/MCP-style protocols, agent identity and authorization (OAuth/OIDC extensions for non-human identities), and AI governance/observability.
- AI platform, middleware, integration, API management, or identity platform background - ideally from a company solving similar problems
- Open-source commercialization experience - you understand how community adoption funnels into enterprise revenue, and how to make packaging decisions that don't cannibalize the open-source flywheel.
- Enterprise buyer fluency - comfortable in rooms with CTOs, platform architects, and procurement, translating technical capability into business value and defensible pricing.
- Evidence of shipping 0-to-1 or 1-to-n platform products in ambiguous, fast-moving markets - the agentic AI category is still being defined, and you'll need to make calls without full market consensus.
Nice to Have
- Prior startup or scale-up experience where you launched a product rather than inheriting one.
- Prior P&L or revenue ownership experience
- Public speaking, analyst relations, or thought-leadership experience positioning a company in an emerging category.
- Familiarity with WSO2's existing product suite or comparable platforms.
In Addition to a Competitive Compensation Package, WSO2 Offers:
- A work culture and environment where we value both hard work AND flexibility.
- Ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Education reimbursement for professional qualifications and courses.
- A generous vacation/leave plan that fits your needs.
- Health insurance for you and your family.
