Swagger is the de facto standard for API description. It has evolved into a new version specified by the Open API Initiative under the umbrella of the Linux Foundation. This talk will show improvements and new features that will help you to define even better APIs. A sample using Apache CXF, Spring Boot, and WSO2 API Manager illustrates the benefits of implementing OpenAPI Specification 3.

Dennis Kieselhorst is a team leader and chief architect at CTS EVENTIM, Europe's market leader in the ticketing field. After working on several projects in large distributed heterogeneous environments telecommunications, energy, and finance sectors), Dennis now focuses on good APIs as a key for success. He also loves to contribute to Open Source projects and is a committer and PMC member at Apache Software Foundation. Moreover, he is a member of the organizing committees for Java Forum Nord and Java User Group (JUG) Bremen-Oldenburg.
