Beyond Migration: Pekin Insurance’s WSO2 Integration Maturity Story
Integration has become a critical business capability for insurance organizations, directly influencing cost, agility, and scalability. In this session, Pekin Insurance shares its journey beyond migrating to WSO2 and into the next phase of platform maturity.
As a mid‑sized P&C and Life insurer with a highly integration‑heavy landscape, Pekin Insurance successfully established WSO2 as its enterprise integration platform to address rising costs, vendor lock‑in, and scalability constraints. With a stable foundation now in production, the focus has shifted toward maturing the platform through improved architecture consistency, developer experience, CI/CD automation, security, observability, and governance.
Attendees will gain practical insights into Pekin Insurance’s current integration maturity, the prioritized roadmap driving quality, pace, and reusability, and how deliberate platform evolution is delivering measurable business value. This session offers real‑world lessons for organizations evolving integration from middleware to a strategic enterprise platform.
