As the Chief Information Security Officer for WSO2, Nevi leads Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk Management efforts across the company. He collaborates with engineering, product teams, external regulators and customers to ensure that we meet both security and compliance for WSO2 and our product lines. He provides strategic direction, governance and a customer focus to deliver securely at scale. Nevi has over 25 years of global experience in USA, Canada and Sri Lanka in both private industry and the public sector. His focus on Cybersecurity spans across finance & banking, healthcare, telecommunications, utilities, cloud computing, large scale technology and software development. He holds an MSc. in Information Science from Penn State University, USA and a BSc. in Information Systems from Drexel University, USA.
