The Data Layer for Enterprise Agents
Connecting enterprise agents to APIs and organisational data is essential. But access alone is not understanding. An agent sees only what the tools it chooses to call return, and may never discover the source that mattered, or grasp how a policy, a customer record, an operational event, and the action it is weighing relate to one another.
For enterprise agents, that is not merely an answer-quality problem. We cannot trust an agent to decide or act when its view of the enterprise may be incomplete, stale, or not appropriate for the user and task in front of it.
Beyond access sits the harder question of context: the right information, assembled for each request and scoped to the user and task. This talk examines what it takes to give agents a view of the enterprise we can actually trust them to act on.

Maryam is a senior technical lead at WSO2 with over seven years of experience in the industry. She is a core member of the teams working on the design and the implementation of the Ballerina language, with special focus on the core language and the compiler.
