WSO2 CTO and Co-Founder Paul Fremantle recently spoke at the 500-strong Forrester Enterprise Architecture Forum 2011, held on February 17-18 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. He presented a case study on one of the world's highest-volume Web API deployments running at more than 500 million transactions per day, discussing how the open source WSO2 ESB helped this high-profile customer achieve higher availability, simpler architecture, and better scalability with significant saving in hardware resources and human intervention. Interestingly, his remarks not only explored the impact of SOA but also the challenges of creating and managing ultra scale systems.
