As more and more businesses move down the SOA path, security and identity management is also required to be made available as services in the architecture. This needs done in a consistent and reusable manner across all applications.
Prabath Siriwardena, WSO2's Security Lead for the Identity Server project, gave out the following presentation at the recently concluded Summer School security session. This presentation covers concepts of key security standards implementation and identity management for SOA, using two emerging user centric identities: they are OpenID & Information Cards and XACML for fine-grained authorization.
