Terms and Conditions


These terms and conditions apply to registrations for WSO2Con 2024 (“Conference”) to be held on May 7 - 9 2024, at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, FL, USA and organized by WSO2 LLC. (“WSO2”).

For the purposes of these terms and conditions a “Registrant” shall be defined as any individual who has completed the registration process for and thereby been confirmed as a delegate to the Conference.

All Registrants will be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions"):

    Conference Registration

  1. In order to register for the Conference, an individual must visit https://wso2.com/wso2con/2024/registration/, and follow the instructions provided therein.
  2. Information on the process of registration for the Conference forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Registration for the Conference is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Registration for the Conference shall commence on February 6, 2024 (“Commencement Date”) and will close on May 5, 2024. (“Closing Date”).
  4. Once Registrants fill in their details and complete the payment process, the Registrant may request an invoice for payment of the applicable Conference registration fee by form of request to [email protected].
  5. Terms and Conditions related to payment are as below;
    1. Forms of payment
      1. Pay with credit card: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
      2. PayPal: Pay either with your PayPal account or credit card.

    2. All payments will be processed in US dollars.
    3. Any substitutions ticket transfer requests will not be accepted by telephone and must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
      1. A substitution between attendees from the same company and at the same invoice address may be made by providing WSO2 with written notice of the name of the original attendee and full details of the substitute attendee.

    4. Cancellations and requests for a refund will not be accepted by telephone and must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
      1. Cancellation received before February 29, 2024 – 100% refund of the total fee paid.
      2. Cancellation received between March 1, 2024, and March 31, 2024 – 50% refund of the total fee paid.
      3. No refunds will be issued after March 31, 2024. Written requests for any form of substitutions made in writing via email to [email protected] will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  6. Registrants may request a letter from WSO2 for the purposes of processing visas to attend the Conference in the United States of America. Kindly email us with your request at [email protected].
  7. Conference Pass

  8. Registrants acknowledge and accept that the information provided by them during registration can be utilized for conference related activities, such as and not limited to, the creation of name tags.
  9. Forms of payment
    1. Pay with credit card: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Paypal and American Express.
  10. Accommodation at the conference venue, depending on your registration type:
    1. Full conference ticket including Tutorial Day: 3 nights accommodation (check-in May 6th 2024 and check-out May 9th 2024).
    2. Conference only ticket: 2 nights accommodation (check-in May 7th 2024 and check-out May 9th).
  11. Admission to the conference party on May 8th 2024.
  12. Entrance to all keynote presentations and track sessions.
  13. Access to the Sponsor and WSO2 Booth Area.
  14. Meals during the conference (refer to updated/latest agenda).
  15. Accommodation

    Accommodation with the conference ticket will be on room only basis at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood of 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, FL 33314 (https://www.seminolehardrockhollywood.com/).

    If there is an overflow of guests WSO2 shall provide alternative accommodation.

    *If a guest overstays beyond the Agenda and as per the ticket type, the guest will be liable for all incidentals.

    * Registrants will have to comply with hotel terms when they check in.

    Check in time: 4.00pm

    Check out time: 11.00am

    Credit cards:

    You need to ensure you can use your credit cards in the US to secure payment against any incidentals and additional payments (anything beyond the agenda). At check in there will be a hold place on the card to cover incidentals. $100 per day with a maximum of $300.

    The attendee’s name needs to match the name on the card for guests that are "Individual Pays Own", the attendee must have the card that you used when booking your reservation with the hotel in person. If the card does not have your name on it or you do not have the card in person, you need to make arrangements with Customer Care in advance to pay for all of your room in advance. When you check in , you can use your own card to cover incidentals only.

    Data Protection

  16. The personal data supplied by Registrants when registering for the Conference will be used by WSO2 in accordance with the privacy policy at https://wso2.com/privacy-policy/ and for the purposes mentioned herein.
  17. WSO2 may disclose your personal data to:
    1. service providers engaged by WSO2 for the Conference (including but not limited to WSO2’s channel partners, hospitality partners, access card providers) and such data shall be disclosed solely for the purposes of the Conference and matters incidental to the Conference.
    2. the sponsors of the Conference and the Registrant consents to such disclosure. The sponsors may process the personal data and contact the Registrants in the future for marketing, business and other commercial purposes.
  18. Except as described herein, WSO2 will not disclose your personal data to any other third party without your consent except where required to do so by law.

  19. Registrants consent to WSO2 using their email addresses to send (i) Conference related information such as event details and (ii) marketing emails containing product offers, product updates, feature updates, product releases, and newsletters. In the event you do not consent please inform WSO2 at [email protected].
  20. Registrants may opt to have their personal data removed from our database by contacting WSO2 at [email protected]. In the event of such a request, WSO2 will inform the sponsors and third parties with whom WSO2 has shared the Registrant's personal data about the removal request and obtain a confirmation from such third parties and sponsors of the removal of the personal data. If details are removed prior to the conclusion of the Closing Date, Registrants will however forfeit their right to be considered for promotional activities and merchandise related to the Conference.
  21. To comply with global data privacy laws, WSO2 imposes certain restrictions on the use of multimedia (including media such as photography, video, audio, online streaming, and all future mediums) at its events. Accordingly, please note that Registrants are permitted to use hand-held cameras and/or smartphones to take photographs and capture digital images for personal, non-commercial use, provided the photography is not disruptive. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever.
  22. WSO2 will hire professional service providers (photo/video/streaming/audio) to document and display the Conference experience. WSO2 may also use social media to, amongst other things to: (i) post real-time photos and videos to its social media feeds; and (ii) display select submissions from those feeds on monitors throughout the event venue; and the. Registrants consent to WSO2 using their images.In the event you do not consent please inform WSO2 at [email protected]. Attendees and sponsors are encouraged to capture their event experiences and post their own social media content (such as text, photos, audio, video, and streaming content), from the event provided it does not infringe the rights of WSO2 or any third party such as another Registrant or a sponsor.
  23. Due to the prevalence of mobile recording devices in today’s world, WSO2 disclaims all liability for the capture of your image in any multimedia format by any third party.
  24. General

  25. Registrants hereby warrant that all information submitted by them upon registration to the Conference is true, accurate and complete in every respect. WSO2 takes no responsibility for miscommunications based on inaccurate information.
  26. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WSO2 hereby excludes and shall not have any liability to any Registrant in respect of any Claim of any nature arising in relation to a Registrant’s participation in any manner in the Conference, including by registration for the Conference. A Claim as referenced here includes any claims, losses, costs, expenses and damages of any kind (without limitation), provided that nothing herein shall operate so as to limit or exclude WSO2’s liability for personal injury or death caused by a proven act of negligence.
  27. Except as specifically set out herein and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded.
  28. WSO2 reserves the right to amend or replace these Terms and Conditions without notice and without any liability. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will be notified to Registrants as soon as possible by WSO2.
  29. A failure by WSO2 to enforce any one of these Terms and Conditions at any time will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any Registrant, nor shall it be deemed to be a waiver of any rights in relation to the same.
  30. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions are held to be illegal, invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed from the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
  31. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of California excluding its conflicts of laws principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be determined and settled by arbitration in Santa Clara, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). The arbitral award shall be final and binding.
